The view of the total solar eclipse in April from my nephew's house in Bruceville, Texas was spectacular. The weather was questionable as there were light thunderstorms throughout the previous night and early morning. However, as the day progressed, the offending weather front moved eastward and the clouds started to dissipate. By the time the eclipse began, there were significant areas of clear sky. Our viewing location was directly in the path of totality, and we experienced over 4 minutes of near darkness, dark enough for solar pathway lights to turn on. This spherical was taken by the DJI Mini Pro III drone from an altitude of 200 feet.
