Hidden in a small inlet at the head of Loch a Siar lie the remains of the only Whaling Station built in the British Isles. It's existance at the start of the 20th century was an attempt to bring jobs to this land on the edge, but its life was short lived due to over fishing, the First World War and a lack of economic reality. Modern attitudes to whaling mean that the site is left to decay, rather than be redeveloped as a memorial to the folly of a cruel and failed industry. Apart from the chimney, and the large slipway where whales were landed, very little remains of the buildings where the animals were rendered. Only a few smaller offices and accommodation buildings remain standing.

gentWIRE camera syncronisers. Suspended below a Dan Leigh Cruiser kite with 8ft/2.5m span.
This technique produces two hemispheres, and a different workflow in PTGui from the classic ground pano technique. This results in extra effort BUT impossible angles!
