Taitung County Government extends a warm welcome to balloonists from around the world to participate in the 2014 Taiwan Balloon Fiesta being held in Taitung, Taiwan from May 30th to August 10th, 2014.

Taiwan's Balloon Fiesta has been held since 2011 at Luye Goutai, Taitung County. It is now one of the major events on the Taiwan Tourism Almanac. We have invited pilots from the United States, Canada, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, England, France, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Lithuania, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Vietnam and Dubai in the past few years. They were all stunned by the breath-taking rift valley scenery surrounding Luye Gaotai as well as the natural beauty of Taitung County.

In order to make Taiwan Balloon Fiesta shine brighter and attract more international and domestic tourists, Taitung County Government established a balloon team including 8 balloons and 7 USA/TAIWAN certificated pilots. All these were pioneering in Taiwan Ballooning history.
