媽祖是台灣中南部的民眾信仰的主要神明之一，供奉媽祖的天后宮在這個區域中，為數不少。這座有四十多年歷史的小型廟宇鄰近我所居住的社區；近年來香火鼎盛，宗教活動亦相當頻繁。

Matsu is one of the main deities of popular religions in central and southern Taiwan. In these areas there are a large number of Tin Hau Temples which are dedicated to Matsu.

This small temple which has forty years of history is in the neighborhood of the community where I live. In recent years there were many visiting pilgrims and religious activities were also quite frequent.
