I shot this panorama on my way to the IVRPA/IAPP conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We visited Horseshoe Bend on a late afternoon on a very windy day. On the horizon a sandstorm was approaching and we didn't notice until it hit us! We should suspect why we where the only tourists at such a well-known place. I just say that our exit to the car over those sand dunes was not an easy one.

Still I enjoy remembering those moments spent with Matthias Taugwalder and my wife Sandra Mexa and this trip trough the US Southwest was very worthwhile.

I hope to return soon to the US to travel trough these great sceneries.
