Stockholm City Hall (called "Stockholms Stadshus" or "Stadshuset" in Swedish) is one of Stockholm's most popular spots for tourists. Groups arrive by bus from early morning until late afternoon. Of course not so frequent in December as in July-August but many enough to surprise. Stockholm City Hall is where the Nobel Prize banquet takes place. The building was dedicated on June 23, 1923. Almost eight million red bricks were used to build it.
