On April 27th the yearly marathon started in Hamburg, with 20,000 runners from 85 nations, at Millerntorplatz at the beginning of Reeperbahn in St. Pauli. 800,000 spectators watched the second largest marathon in Germany and saw David Mandago from Kenia winning in the time 2:07:23.
