Roanne City Theater was built at the end of 19th Century. It was inaugurated and first opened to the public in 1885 with Beaumarchais' famous play Le Barbier de Séville and can seat about eight hundred people.

This image shows a bright contrast between a warm red and gold harmonious atmosphere and an affected lifeless stage setting. Generously, theater's management makes possible amateur actors or producers rehearsals and performances.
