One of the things we do each year is putting up the decorated Christmas tree. I am a native of Denmark and used to decorate the tree with live candles, handmade hearts and glitter. Today I live in California and the weather is not very conductive to real trees at home, so instead this is a artificial tree with lots of lights and store-bought ornaments. It is located in the window for everybody passing by to enjoy.
