Bromo is one of the most easily accessible active volcanos in the World - just a few hours by a car from the nearest big city Surabaya, an hour by old jeep, 10 minutes by pony and 245 steps of very steep staircase separates you from this view.

Вулкан Бромо - один из самых доступных активных вулканов в мире. Несколько часов на автомобиле от Сурабайи, центра провинции Западная Ява, час на джипе по серпантинам на территории Национального парка Бромо Тенггер Семеру, километр от огражения, за которое нельзя попасть на автомобиле и 245 ступеней по крутой бетонной лестнице - вот и всё, что отделяет путешественника от захватывающего вида кратера вулкана. Немного прислушавшись, можно различить глухой рокот, доносящийся откуда-то из глубоких расщелин, находящихся на самом дне кратера.
