The Geek Poker Tour participated in the Tanya's Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament charity poker event. This was the third year for most of us. This event is held to raise money for cancer research. Laura made t-shirts up for us especially for the event. Out of about 250 players Brad, Leslie, and Mike made it to the final table with Mike taking second place.

I managed to bust pretty early so I was able to take plenty of panoramas. The memory card on the camera was getting full taking raw images and had to switch to jpeg at the end to ensure I did not run out of space before the last hand.

It was a lot of fun and I look forward doing it again next year.

The GPT is a bunch of geek friends from around Ottawa that get together most Saturday nights to play Texas Hold'em poker. We only play for 5$, but we keep track of our stats pretty closely.
