I think the most fun thing you can do when you get to Las Vegas is GET THE HECK OUT OF LAS VEGAS!

Personally, I've been there often enough that the entertainment value of the casinos and the neon and stuff wore off long ago. But the scenery out in the desert... well that never wears out!

Red Rocks Canyon is just outside of Las Vegas, very easy to get to and worth many visits. This panorama is from the first turn-out on the canyon loop road, taken maybe 2 minutes walk from the car.
