In October, an assignment allowed me to swim with the dolphins at Dolphin Encounters in Nassau, Bahamas. Dolphin Encounters was home to Flipper, probably the most famous of all dolphins. They are located at Blue Lagoon Island, a 20 min boat ride north from Paradise Island, which hosts Atlantis, just off of Nassau. The challenge was to get a complete competent panorama in water on a floating bay and dock moored to a structure on land, and have everything stitch together just right. A whole lot of editing, source preprocessing, and extensive Photoshop techniques were brought to bear to come up with this fully spherical image. In a situation like this, it's as if your frames are photographed hand-held while either you, the dock, or the background are in motion relative to each other.
