The church features a Casavant Brothers organ (1955) and two large mosaic murals (2006) by the well-known local artist Claude Roussel. These can be seen in the image above.
The Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Cathedral measures approximately 75 metres (242 feet) by 27.4 metres (90 feet). Despite its age, it is still today one of the more impressive buildings in the city.
