Bottling the Sake
Azumamine Brewery, Shiwa-cho Iwate, Japan
December 7, 2005 - 09:10 UTC (16:10 local time)
"Sake" is a Japanese alcoholic beverage, brewed from rice. This brewery named "azumamine" is a small brewery in Iwate Prefecture. Shikomi means making the sake.
Azumamine is brewing sake by the traditional handmade process. Usual sake is transparent. This time they brewed sacred sake called "omiki". It's not transparent because lightly filtered to leave rice sediment in the bottle. It is dedicated to the Shinto shrine "Morioka Hachimangu".
BGM : "Handmade sake is delicious!". This is the Azumamine's original old CM song (maybe 30 years ago). :-)
And you can hear the sound of "shikomi (*)" at Radio-documentary-style podcast program "Azumamine 2005 brew year Live!" (Japanese only). This program is in Expanded Podcast format. End of program, you can see a link to a fullscreen VR panorama. Please check it.
Another VR panorama is inside the Hiroshima Peace Memorial (the Genbaku Dome) . I got permission from Hiroshima city, but only for the ww2panorama.org site, so I can't upload the movie to WWP... http://ww2panorama.org/panoramas/hiroshima-dome
