This bank of dead trees is located in the Lewin - Naturalise National Park, Cape Naturaliste, Western Australia.
The park itself is a sanctuary to flora and fauna; but that is not why I chose this spot. These trees have provided safe-haven for bird life many years ago - a shelter from the harsh winter storms and the blasting winds which rule the southern tip of the Indian Ocean.
Although they are no longer green - whithered by the though salt air - they but not forgotten.
P.S. for those interested, this panorama was actually taken about 500m east from my 1st WWP submission.
