My first thougt was to do a church panorama. But that's to simple.
The "Wildsee" wildlife sanctuary - a moor on an altitute of 950 m was my second thought. But how will the weather be on the shooting days?
Saturday and Sunday the weather was bad. On sunday afternoon it starts to snow. Monday morning arrived with clear sky. Impatiently I waited for the sun. The wildlife sanctary? Need to much time. What else? - Sanctuary also means refuge! I packed my camera and the manfrotto and went off for a walk in the forest. I visited a lot of my favorite places and shoot some panos. At last, i went to the "Laudishütte" shelter hut. When I saw the sun shining trough the trees there, I was shure: This will be my sanctuary panorama.
First, the ground shots were made, before the snow is trampeled. Then the four shots round plus one up. Each position with 5 different exposures, 1 EV apart.
At home, i used NoiseRemove to combine the bracketed exposures. In Photoshop, the cromatic abberration was corrected with the PanoTools plugin. Then the panorama was stitched with PTGui and Autopano. Blended, patched and color corrected again in Photoshop. Finally, the QTVR's were created with PanoCube Plus.
