Nothing is more peaceful than a baby resting. The stillness, the quiet, the magic. The three months that lead up to his birth found his mom on bed rest with three emergency trips to the hospital.

The stress of a difficult pregnancy is powerful. On the baby. On the mother. On the family. But all of that disappears the day a healthy baby comes home. And six weeks later, Alex is right at home. In his sanctuary.

And it was from this same crib two and one-half years earlier where his older brother was gathered up by his mother in a rush to leave his sanctuary. Click on the window in the picture to see the aftermath of what roared through the neighborhood.
Equipment
Canon 20D, Sigma 8mm fisheye, Manfrotto 303SPH, PTMac, Photoshop CS, CubicConverter, CubicConnector and a pot of coffee :)
Behind the scene : how this panorama was made
This cubic panorama was created from four horizontal, one nadir and one zenith image. All shot in Raw mode on my brand new Canon 20D. However, much to my frustration, I discovered (right as I went to shoot this) that my Sigma 8mm fisheye would not function properly with my new 20D! I could only shoot at f4.0. Imagine my frustration.

Still, the photograph is good, but too soft. If I had been able to shoot this with a smaller f-stop, I would have preferred the final output.
