Nuraghe are unique to Sardinia, another example (Barumini/Su Nuraxi) is a UN World Heritage site and near to Nuraghe Losa is also a site (Santa Cristina) which has a well temple where reputedly its orientation leads to the stairwell being lit solely on the equinox.
Unfortunately a grey and cold (by Mediterranean standards) day suggested an internal shot as preferable. You can see more of Sardinia at www.360sardinia.net and I will be adding the page for Nuraghe Losa soon.
