During this trekking around Ausangate in Vilcanota cordillera we sat a camp around 5000 m on top of quebrada Acero. The next morning we awoke with ice inside the tent and went up to Huayruro Punco Sur, 5480 m. The sun and steep slope made the temperature soon much warmer. On top the view was amazing, worth the effort.
