I wouldn't have shot this panorama that day if it wasn't for the Wrinkle. But hey, that's what it's all about: showing what it's like on this day.

I waited until evening for the weather to improve, undecided what to shoot. Then the construction site of the new wind turbines on the Schauinsland came to my mind. I thought of a panorama between the old and the new wind turbine.

But driving there, I had to realize that the road was closed. Too late to approach the mountain from the other side. Without an idea what to shoot else, I drove to Geiersnest, which is as close to the new wind turbines as I could get before the light was completely gone. Luckily, this road was open on Sunday, although it's closed during the week.

Here are some nicer panoramas from almost the same spot: Sunset over sea of fog and Moonrise over sea of fog, both with the old wind turbines, one of which I already featured on the WWP

Equipment

Sony a7R4, Samyang 12mm fisheye, tripod, PTGui pro, Photoshop
