Basel (Switzerland)
March 20, 2024 - 12:37 GMT+1
Every year at flowering time, the large magnolia trees in front of St. Paul's Church (Paulus Kirche) in Basel are a popular photo subject. St. Paul's Church was built by the architects Karl Moser and Robert Curjel in the Neo-Romanesque style with Art Nouveau elements and was consecrated in 1901. Since 2019, it has no longer been used for church purposes and since 2021 is run as a cultural center for concerts and events under the name Kulturkirche Paulus.
