Caption
Following their marriage artists Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner purchased a farm house and barn on a small holding near East Hampton, Long Island.

This panorama shows the studio, in a barn, where Jackson Pollock created his most famous Abstract Expressionist paintings. The floor still bears evidence of the liquid paint that he used as he moved around applying the paint from above to the canvas on the floor.

Following his death in 1956 the studio was used by Lee Krasner until her death in 1984. More information about the Pollock-Krasner House and Studio.

Nikon D300, Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye
