Caption
In 2003 the french architect Dominique Perrault was the winner of international architecture's contest for building the new Seoul's Womans University ( 이화 여자 대학교 - Ihwa Yeoja Daehakgyo) on the site of the former one.
Dominique Perrault's project was very smart and totally original, very respectful for the site of woody hills, making the roof disappear in the urban scenery, then getting rid of architecture, Dominique Perrault created this project and first called it "Ewha Valley".
It's a real valley lined with sheer cliffs made out of glass and metal : it's particularly impressive to be here walking along between these cliffs, going up to the plant-covered mild slope roof using the wide stairway.
