Caption
A friend drove me out to Al Falaij, a small village with a fine castle and healthy date palm grove. Children in the village came out to watch and laugh at us while I messed with my camera. Two men invited us in for tea and dates, but we hadn't the time.

Not long after these photos were taken, my tripod broke and the Peleng fisheye's lens cap, which does not secure, fell off, leaving a scratch on the lens. Thus ended my panorama shooting in Oman, though I had perhaps 5 days left.
